Measuring visitors and analytics
Besides web server logs—which are rotated daily and retained for fourteen days—I don't log anything about your visit to this website and I don't actively use any analytics services or tracking cookies.
URLs beginning with ptrl.ws are created using Polr (a URL shortener). I log the number of times that each URL is clicked, but no other personally identifiable information (such as IP address, user agent or location information) is logged.
I use Cloudflare to help optimise and protect this website. Cloudflare may place a cookie in your browser as part of its operation.
Cloudflare provides access to a limited amount of information regarding visits to this site as part of its feature set. The information provided to me is not personally-identifiable and is limited to the number of visitors and their Country/Region of origin.
I cannot control how Cloudflare uses information gathered from my use of its service.
I make use of Google Fonts on this site for the implementation of custom typefaces. To do so, I embed code provided by Google over which I have no control.
I don't have access to any information gathered from my use of this service, nor can I control how Google uses it.
I use Disqus to provide a way for visitors to leave and read comments on posts. In order to make use of this service, I embed code provided by Disqus over which I have no control. In order to leave comments on this site, you are required to authenticate with Disqus. This means that Disqus could, in theory, know that you have visited this site.
I don't have access to this information, nor can I control how Disqus uses it.
